A few years ago, I decided to plant flowers in a section of the field on our family farm. I wanted to create a beautiful space for my clients to come and make memories. It started with an area of wildflowers. Next, I added 25 lavender plants, rows of sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos and dahlias. The flower field grows bigger each spring. Some seeds are started indoors during the winter months, others are planted directly in the field with the help of my husband & daughters in the spring. We put so much thought, time and love into making the flower field a magical place!

As your photographer (and gardener) I will keep you updated about the progress of the flowers. If the flowers seem to be blooming earlier/later than usual or there is inclement weather, we can easily reschedule your session to an alternative date. You will never have to worry about rain dates and location fees.

Did you know that flowers are not the only thing we grow on the farm? Wheat and soybeans are planted as alternating crops in the majority of the field. There is beauty everywhere you look around the farm... It is my favourite location to photograph families during the summer months.
